about the scholarship
The Nohra DeFrancisco Memorial Scholarship at Northeastern Illinois University at El Centro gives NEIU students the opportunity to broaden their educational experience through a travelling scholarship. With this scholarship, Juan Gabriel Moreno and his family commemorate his mother, Mrs. Norha DeFrancisco, who migrated from Colombia to the United States at a young age, and worked hard to better her life and the lives of her descendants. Students will have the opportunity to travel and expose themselves to other communities, areas, and cultures while focusing on the architectural landscape.
